Job summary

Propel Apps is seeking a senior Technical Writer to join our Chennai-based team. You will craft comprehensive technical content for SaaS products, including user manuals, APIs, whitepapers, and tutorials, while collaborating closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams.

You will ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across manuals, guides, and campaigns, contributing to customer enablement and onboarding initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of technical writing experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
• Proficiency with MadCap Flare, FrameMaker, MS Word, Confluence, and video editing software.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, product management, and marketing teams.
• High attention to detail in all written materials.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and knowledge of supply chain is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive technical documentation including user manuals, integration guides, API documentation, whitepapers, case studies, and FAQs.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and subject matter experts to gather technical information and translate it into user-friendly content.
• Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect product updates and new features.
• Partner with the marketing team to produce thought leadership articles, blog posts, and technical content for campaigns.
• Ensure documentation complies with industry standards and best practices for technical writing.
• Create tutorials, quick-start guides, and videos to help customers implement Propel Apps solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and competitors to create relevant content.
