Heartstream is seeking a Technical Writer to create detailed user manuals, installation guides, and product specifications for hardware and software in a regulated medical device context.
You will collaborate with Engineering, Product Management and Design to translate complex concepts into clear, user-friendly content, while ensuring accuracy through research and reviews. The role is office-based in Bengaluru, with emphasis on regulatory standards and legacy documentation updates.

The Technical Writer is responsible for creating detailed and comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and product specifications, working under direct supervision. The role works closely with engineering, product management, and design teams to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly content. The role involves conducting in-depth research to ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date, as well as implementing industry best practices to enhance quality.

We believe collaboration is better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
