Job summary

Heartstream is seeking a Localization Engineer to lead end-to-end localization for product docs, UI strings, voice prompts and release materials. You will coordinate translation workflows, manage suppliers, perform pre-/post-processing, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 4+ years in localization or related PM roles, hands-on experience with Passolo and QuickTerm, and familiarity with FrameMaker/Illustrator/MadCap Flare. This office-based position is Bengaluru, India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university; minimum 4+ years in localization or equivalent PM experience.
• Hands-on experience with localization tools and terminology management systems, particularly Passolo and QuickTerm.
• Knowledge of standard localization processes and tools such as Passolo and QuickTerm.
• Familiarity with technical writing and DTP tools (FrameMaker, Illustrator, MadCap Flare).
• Knowledge of content management systems.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Background in medical or regulated industry.
• Office-based role (3 days in the office per week).

• Review and validation activities, terminology management and project tracking to ensure timely delivery.
• Write plans and reports per quality and regulatory requirements.
• Execute projects per schedule and monitor status with suppliers and core team.
• Manage review and validation of documentation, UI strings, voice prompts and labels.
• Maintain administrative docs for projects including POs and milestones.
