Job summary

Harita Techserv Bengaluru seeks a meticulous technical writer to create, update, and manage product documentation for engineering teams. You will collaborate with SMEs and Product Engineers to gather input, ensure compliance with technical publication standards, and produce clear illustrations using standard tools.

Knowledge of DITA/XML authoring (Arbortext, XMetal, Oxygen) and InDesign/Illustrator is a plus; Windchill/Teamcenter PLM knowledge is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Create and manage product documentation.

• Review project documents for completeness, format, and compliance with technical publication standards.
• Manage workload and achieve results with minimum supervision.
• Clear understanding of technical writing standards and principles.
• Good understanding of technical illustration standards and principles.
• Create technical illustrations required for product documentation. Knowledge on Windchill/Teamcenter PLM is an added advantage.
• Report on project status to Technical Publication Manager.
• Meet short and long-term deadlines, while effectively meeting the needs of internal and external customers.

• Experience on Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator, CREO will be an advantage
