Job summary

Cyient is seeking an experienced Technical Writer/Illustrator to create and update technical manuals and illustrations for service, operator, and maintenance manuals. The role requires strong authoring skills and hands-on CAD tool experience.

You will work with engineering and service teams to gather information, ensure accuracy, and comply with customer documentation standards while delivering high-quality manuals and visuals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in technical authoring and illustration.
• Experience in creating and updating Operator & Maintenance Manuals, Workshop Manuals, Service Manuals, Instruction Manuals and Training Manuals.
• Strong ability to follow documentation standards and collaborate with engineering and service teams.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain Operator & Maintenance Manuals (OMM) and related manuals.
• Develop and revise technical content per project requirements and standards.
• Create and update technical illustrations to support documentation deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and service teams to validate information and ensure accuracy.

• Ensure documentation accuracy, consistency, and compliance with customer requirements.
