Confidential Client is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to create, maintain, and enhance documentation for data and cloud-based products. The ideal candidate will master MadCap Flare, API documentation, JIRA, Confluence, and Git, and will document Data Engineering and SaaS solutions.

The role requires strong English communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Formación

• 5–8 years of technical writing experience in data or cloud-based products.
• Proficiency with MadCap Flare, API documentation, and multi-channel publishing.
• Experience with Confluence, JIRA, Git, DITA/XML tools, and AI-assisted documentation.
• Strong English communication and ability to work in an Agile environment.
• Familiarity with Data Engineering and SaaS documentation is a plus.

Responsabilidades

Job Title: Technical Writer
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to create, maintain, and enhance high-quality technical documentation for data and cloud-based products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MadCap Flare, API documentation, JIRA, Confluence, and Git, along with experience documenting Data Engineering and SaaS-based solutions. The role involves collaborating with Product Managers, Architects, DevOps teams, and Business Analysts to develop user guides, integration documentation, API references, and other technical content. The candidate should be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment. Experience with AI-assisted documentation tools and cloud technologies is highly desirable.

Relevant Experience: 5 to 8 Years

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in MadCap Flare or other XML-based authoring tools, including single-sourcing, content reuse, and multi-channel publishing.
• Experience with Confluence, JIRA, Git, and familiarity with DITA, XML tools, Microsoft Copilot, and Cursor.
• Working knowledge of AI-assisted documentation, including prompt engineering, AI-based content creation, editing, and research.
• Ability to create structured and scalable documentation following MSTP or similar technical writing standards.
• Strong understanding of information architecture, content organization, and navigation best practices.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Documentation Development Life Cycle (DDLC).
• Strong technical writing skills with excellent oral and written English communication.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
