Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical training on Solar PV systems and power plants for engineers, technicians, freshers, and field teams.
- Conduct classroom, practical, workshop, and on-site training.
- Explain the complete Solar PV system including:
- Solar PV Modules
- String & Array Configuration
- Distribution Boxes / AC And DC
- Inverters
- Transformers
- HT/LT Panels
- SCADA & Monitoring Systems
- Earthing & Lightning Protection
- Cables & Connectors
- Battery / Energy Storage Systems – basic understanding
- Provide training on Solar PV installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance (O&M).
- Train candidates on fault finding, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of solar systems.
- Explain electrical drawings, SLDs, wiring diagrams and equipment specifications.
- Conduct practical demonstrations related to testing, measurements and electrical safety.
- Train teams on Solar Plant Safety, PPE, LOTO, electrical hazards, working at height and emergency procedures.
- Develop training modules, presentations, practical exercises, assessments, quizzes and technical manuals.
- Conduct technical assessments and evaluate trainee performance.
- Identify knowledge gaps and provide corrective technical training.
- Maintain training records, attendance, assessment results and feedback reports.
- Coordinate with Project, Engineering, O&M and HSE teams to understand actual field-level training requirements.
- Keep training content updated with new solar technologies, equipment and industry practices.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Solar PV technology and Solar Power Plant architecture.
- Hands-on experience in Solar EPC / Installation / Commissioning / O&M.
- Knowledge of Grid-connected, Rooftop and Utility-scale Solar PV systems.
- Understanding of DC & AC electrical systems.
- Knowledge of Inverter, SCADA, String Monitoring and Solar Plant Monitoring.
- Ability to read and explain SLD, electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of testing & commissioning procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of electrical safety and solar project HSE practices.
- Good presentation, communication and mentoring skills.
