Job summary

Hohberht Tech in India is seeking a Solar EPC Project Lead to design rooftop and ground‑mounted PV systems, prepare BOMs and technical docs, and drive procurement and site execution across Kerala. You will coordinate with vendors, ensure compliance with safety and DISCOM regulations, and lead multi‑discipline teams.

The role requires hands‑on field experience, strong project management and the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Solar System Design & Engineering
  • Design rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
  • Prepare technical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), layout plans, and system sizing calculations.
  • Optimize system performance based on site conditions, shadow analysis, and customer requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with DISCOM, electrical safety, and statutory regulations.
• BOM & Technical Documentation
  • Prepare detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) for projects.
  • Estimate material quantities and technical specifications.
  • Create project documentation, technical proposals, datasheets, and installation guidelines.
  • Coordinate with procurement for technical approvals and material planning.
• Procurement & Logistics Management
  • Lead procurement planning for all project materials and equipment.
  • Source solar modules, inverters, structures, cables, BOS components, and electrical accessories from approved vendors.
  • Compare quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate logistics, transportation, warehousing, and site material dispatches.
  • Track inventory movement and ensure timely material availability at project sites.
  • Minimize procurement delays and optimize project material costs.
  • Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and inventory documentation.
• Vendor & Supply Chain Management
  • Identify and manage solar equipment vendors and subcontractors.
  • Evaluate vendor quality, delivery performance, and technical compliance.
  • Develop long-term vendor relationships for cost-effective procurement.
  • Ensure quality checks and compliance for all procured materials.
• Project Execution & Site Leadership
  • Lead onsite execution teams and supervise installation activities.
  • Coordinate civil, electrical, and structural work at project sites.
  • Monitor project timelines, quality, safety, and commissioning activities.
  • Resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning.
  • Ensure proper coordination between procurement, logistics, and execution teams.
• Team Management
  • Lead and mentor field engineers, technicians, store coordinators, and subcontractors.
  • Conduct technical training and ensure adherence to SOPs and safety standards.
  • Coordinate between office engineering and site execution teams.
• Client & Stakeholder Coordination
  • Attend client meetings and technical discussions when required.
  • Provide project updates, technical clarifications, and commissioning support.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, DISCOMs, and approval authorities.
• Required Skills
  • Strong knowledge of solar PV system design and EPC execution.
  • Experience in procurement planning, vendor management, and project logistics.
  • Experience in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar solar design tools.
  • Understanding of electrical systems, LT panels, earthing, and safety standards.
  • Strong project management and supply chain coordination skills.
  • Ability to independently handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Practical field execution experience in solar installations.
• Preferred Qualifications
  • B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Energy Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in solar EPC/project execution roles preferred.
  • Experience in rooftop solar projects is highly preferred.
