Job summary

SynapseIndia, a software development company with global presence, seeks a Technical Project Manager in Noida. The role oversees end-to-end delivery of enterprise software, guiding multiple cross-functional Agile teams using Scrum and Kanban.

You will define scope, timelines, budgets, and risks, while coordinating with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and Development teams to ensure successful delivery. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in software development and technical project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent.
• 6–7 years of software development and technical project management experience.
• Strong SDLC knowledge and Java-based tech expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise software projects from initiation to deployment and post-production support.
• Manage cross-functional Agile teams using Scrum and Kanban.
• Define scope, timelines, budgets and delivery schedules; monitor progress and risks.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA and Development teams to drive execution.
• Provide regular status updates, dashboards and executive reports; maintain stakeholder communication.

What is the work?

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise software development projects from initiation through deployment and post-production support.
• Manage multiple cross-functional Agile teams using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, resource plans, budgets, and delivery schedules.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Architects, QA teams, and Development teams to drive successful execution.
• Provide regular project status updates, dashboards, executive reports, and maintain effective stakeholder communication.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery, engineering processes, team productivity, and delivery performance.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, budget, quality standards, and timelines.
• Support release planning, deployment coordination, and post-production stabilization activities.
• Coordinate resource allocation, capacity planning, and project budgeting.
• Conduct project reviews, capture lessons learned, and implement process improvements.
• Mentor and guide development teams while promoting a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
• Ensure high customer and stakeholder satisfaction through predictable sprint execution, effective risk management, and continuous improvement in engineering and delivery processes.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 6–7 years of experience in software development and technical project management, primarily on Java-based projects.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Hands‑on technical expertise in Java-based technologies, including Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate, JavaScript, Docker, and REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum & Kanban) and Agile project delivery.
• Experience in project planning, scheduling, sprint planning & execution, resource management, risk management, stakeholder management, budgeting, delivery management, and project lifecycle management.
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git/GitHub, and ClickUp.
• Strong understanding of databases including Oracle, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience managing geographically distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, problem‑solving, decision‑making, and conflict resolution skills.
• Technical leadership with the ability to mentor development teams and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Strong strategic planning, risk assessment & mitigation, and continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience managing global clients across Europe, North America, or APAC.
• Experience leading digital transformation initiatives.
• Exposure to AI-powered business solutions or Generative AI projects.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and cloud‑native architectures.
• Experience working with distributed offshore/onshore teams.
• Familiarity with enterprise governance, compliance, and quality standards.
• Preferred certifications include Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, AWS Cloud Certification, and experience delivering enterprise‑scale digital transformation programs.
