Job summary

Expleo is seeking an experienced Software Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of multiple software development projects in a dynamic IT services environment. You will own scope, schedule, budget, and quality while ensuring customer satisfaction.

You will manage fixed-cost/fixed-price engagements, coordinate with technical leads and architects, and drive governance, risk mitigation, and executive reporting. Banking/FS domain experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of experience in software project management.
• Experience in IT Services companies.
• Strong track record of delivering fixed-cost/fixed-price enterprise projects.
• Experience managing distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Extensive customer-facing experience with enterprise clients.
• Banking and Financial Services domain experience is highly preferred.
• Experience managing projects involving Java, Python, cloud technologies, APIs, and enterprise integration.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple software development projects.
• Own project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead fixed-cost/fixed-bid project execution while ensuring profitability and delivery commitments.
• Prepare project plans, resource plans, risk registers, and mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with Technical Leads and Solution Architects to ensure technical alignment and successful execution.
• Monitor project health through regular governance, status reporting, and milestone tracking.
• Manage customer communication, steering committee meetings, and executive reporting.
• Handle scope management, change requests, and commercial discussions.
• Identify delivery risks proactively and implement mitigation plans.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and organizational quality processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Development, QA, DevOps, Business Analysis, and Support.
• Drive continuous process improvement and delivery excellence.
