Job summary

Antrix Propulsion- A division of Antrix Financial Engineers Pvt Ltd is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead for Autonomous Systems in Bengaluru. You will own perception, localization, SLAM, and state-estimation, and drive sensor-fusion pipelines while leading system-level integration across software, embedded, robotics, and control domains.

The role requires strong C++ and Python skills, ROS/ROS2 proficiency, and experience with LiDAR, cameras, and other sensors.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in robotics or autonomous systems.
• Strong fundamentals in robotics and autonomous-systems.
• Practical experience with SLAM, localization, perception, or navigation.
• Proficient in C++ and Python.
• Hands-on ROS/ROS2 experience.

• Ability to own and deliver systems from concept through testing.

About the Role

We are an early-stage deep-tech startup building proprietary autonomous systems that integrate robotics, intelligent sensing, embedded computing, and advanced perception technologies.

We are seeking a highly hands-on Technical Lead Autonomous Systems who can take ownership of the autonomous systems technology stack and help transform early-stage prototypes into robust, reliable, and deployable systems.

Our specific application and proprietary architecture are confidential and will be shared progressively during the selection process.

Role & responsibilities

• Take ownership of perception, localization, SLAM, and state-estimation systems.
• Design and develop sensor-fusion and autonomous-perception pipelines.
• Lead system-level integration across software, embedded systems, robotics, and control systems.
• Define technical architecture and drive decisions related to system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Lead technical execution while remaining actively involved in hands-on development.
• Build prototypes, conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve system performance.
• Identify and resolve complex technical challenges across the autonomous systems stack.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in robotics, autonomous systems, or related technologies.
• Strong understanding of robotics and autonomous-systems fundamentals.
• Practical experience in SLAM, localization, perception, or navigation.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2.
• Experience working with sensor data, point clouds, LiDAR, cameras, IMU, or similar sensing technologies.
• Good understanding of sensor fusion and state estimation.
• Ability to independently own and deliver systems from concept and prototyping through integration and testing.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Prior experience in an early-stage startup or deep-tech environment will be an advantage.
