Job summary

Habilelabs Private Limited is seeking a Robotics Lead to drive the design, development, and integration of robotic systems for our automation platform. You will lead a cross-functional team, define the technical architecture, and ensure successful delivery from prototype to deployment.

You will develop robotics applications using ROS/ROS2, C++, and Python, and oversee motion planning, controls, and system integration with mechanical, electronics, and software teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in robotics software and system development.
• Strong proficiency in ROS/ROS2, C++, Python, and Linux.
• Experience with motion planning, control systems, kinematics, and system integration.
• Hands-on experience with Gazebo, Isaac Sim or equivalent digital twin environments.
• Experience deploying robotics applications on NVIDIA Jetson or similar embedded computing platforms.
• Strong understanding of LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, encoders, and perception systems.
• Experience integrating robotics hardware, embedded systems, motor controllers, and communication protocols.
• Knowledge of computer vision, sensor fusion or autonomous robotics is an added advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, technical leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional engineering teams.
