Job summary

Ati Robotics in Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on mechanical engineer to lead a small, fast-moving team building autonomous mobile robots and humanoid systems. You will drive concepts from idea to production, delivering real value to customers.

You will set technical standards, mentor engineers, and work across disciplines to ship complete AMR solutions while staying current with robotics trends and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years engineering experience, with at least 2 years in robotics or autonomous mobile robots.
• Degree in mechanical, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Proven track record of shipping automated systems into production.
• Experience leading or coordinating technical work in a startup-like or fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working directly with customers— listening, scoping, and translating requirements.

We are looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial mechanical Engineer to lead a small, fast-moving team building the next generation of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), humanoid robots, and intelligent automation systems.

You will be the technical spine of the team — conceiving solutions, driving development at pace, and delivering real value to customers.

What You Will Do

• Lead and mentor a small cross-disciplinary team, keeping everyone aligned and moving fast toward delivery milestones.
• Design, prototype, development of autonomous mobile robots and humanoid robot systems from concept to production.
• Set technical standards, code quality practices, and development workflows that scale with the team.
• Support pre-sales and proposal activity by translating technical capabilities into compelling customer solutions.
• Stay current with emerging robotics platforms, industry trends to continuously improve team output.
• Good at FEA, FMEA, DFM activities towards complete NPD process
• Adhere to MRD, PRD and create new concepts related to AMR automation solutions
• Work with Cross functional teams to develop final products
• Complete Engineering documentations and hand over to R&D or productions
• Strong knowledge on GD&T, tolerance stacks, drawings

Preferred Skills

Mechanical
