Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Installation, Testing, Commissioning, and Operations for Elevators and Parking Systems
• Develop and implement operational strategies, processes, and SOPs to improve installation timelines, service quality, and cost efficiency
• Plan and allocate manpower, technicians, supervisors, and resources across sites, ensuring optimum utilization and productivity
• Monitor project execution against timelines, budgets, and quality standards; resolve site bottlenecks and escalations
• Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt complaint resolution, transparent communication, and high service standards
• Ensure strict compliance with safety norms, statutory regulations, and quality standards across all installation and maintenance activities
• Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Sales, and Manufacturing teams to ensure timely material availability and smooth project handovers
• Build, mentor, and lead a strong operations team, including hiring, training, and performance management of site engineers, technicians, and supervisors
• Track key operational metrics, prepare MIS reports, and present operational performance updates to top management
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and cost optimization across both business verticals
• Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships for installation and maintenance support where required
• Ensure adequate spare parts planning and inventory management to minimize downtime for maintenance operations

Job description

We're hiring for a Operations Head role with one of the pioneer in the Indian elevator industry and car parking systems.

The role holds end-to-end responsibility for site execution, service delivery, resource planning, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction across all projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership in field operations, a solid technical understanding of elevators and/or automated parking systems, and the ability to manage large, geographically spread teams and multiple concurrent sites.

Qualifications:

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline; MBA in Operations is a plus.

Experience:

15–20 years of experience in installation, or operations management, preferably within the elevator, escalator & automated car parking systems, with at least 5–7 years in a senior leadership role managing multi-site operations
