Job summary

SunTec India is seeking a Site Engineer to oversee elevator and escalator installation, commissioning and servicing at client sites in Bangalore. You will ensure safety, quality protocols and project timelines while coordinating with design, procurement and client teams.

The role requires 3–6 years in the lift/elevator industry, with a diploma/degree in engineering and preferred lift engineering or safety certification. On-site leadership and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise elevator/escalator installation projects at client sites.
• Coordinate with design, procurement and client teams for timely delivery.

• Train and manage on-site teams and subcontractors.

Purpose Of The Role

To oversee the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of elevators and escalators, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality protocols, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the execution of elevator and escalator installation projects at client sites.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and client teams for timely project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation or servicing.
• Monitor and document progress, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of equipment and materials on-site.
• Train and manage on-site teams, including subcontractors, technicians, and helpers.
• Communicate with clients to address concerns and provide updates.
• Conduct final testing, commissioning, and handover of elevators to clients.
• Prepare and submit project reports to management.
