Job summary

OMSPACE ROCKET & EXPLORATION PVT.LTD. is seeking a Technical Head-Aerospace to lead and manage engineering functions at Sanand, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

The role requires hands-on leadership in product development, system integration and testing across avionics, propulsion, structures and embedded systems. The ideal candidate will drive technical strategy, risk management and documentation standards while mentoring multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with partners.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Aerospace/Aeronautical/Mechanical/Avionics or related field.
• 7 to 14 years of relevant aerospace experience.
• Experience in aerospace product development and system integration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Excellent technical communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in UAV/Drone/UAS, Rocket/Launch Vehicle Systems, GNC/Flight Control, Aerostructures, Embedded Systems, System Engineering, Propulsion, Avionics, CAE/Simulation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical development of aerospace projects and products.
• Provide technical leadership across Avionics, GNC, Propulsion, Structures, Embedded Systems and Mechanical Engineering.
• Review engineering designs, simulations, calculations, drawings and technical documentation.
• Lead system integration, testing, validation and troubleshooting.
• Identify technical risks and provide effective engineering solutions.
• Drive R&D, prototype development and technology improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams, vendors, customers and external technical partners.
• Establish engineering standards, processes and documentation practices.
• Mentor and develop engineering teams.
• Support management in technical planning, project estimation and technology roadmap development.
• Ensure engineering activities meet required quality, safety and performance standards.

About the Role:

Omspace Rocket & Exploration Pvt. Ltd. Is looking for an experienced Technical Head-Aerospace to lead and manage our technical and engineering functions The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in aerospace product development, system integration, testing and technical team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end technical development of aerospace projects and products.
