Technical Delivery Manager (Digital, Data, QE & Salesforce)
Role Summary
Own end-to-end delivery of multi-workstream programs spanning Digital Engineering (Front End, Middleware & Cloud), Data/Analytics, Quality Engineering, and Salesforce. Lead cross-functional squads, align stakeholders, manage scope/schedule/cost/quality, and drive predictable outcomes with a strong engineering backbone.
Responsibilities
- Orchestrate multi-team delivery (roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, release plans) across web/mobile, APIs/integration, data, QE, and Salesforce workstreams.
- Run Agile at scale (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe): backlog health, sprint goals, PI planning, metrics.
- Own RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), change control, and escalations.
Stakeholder & Communication
- Serve as primary client interface; translate business outcomes into actionable delivery plans.
- Establish governance: weekly status, steering decks, OKRs, and executive communications.
- Oversee data pipelines (ETL/ELT), lakehouse/warehouse, MDM/data quality, and reporting/AI readiness.
- Champion QE strategy (automation‑first, CI/CD quality gates, performance/security testing) and Salesforce delivery quality (Sales/Service/Experience Cloud, integrations).
People & Process
- Build and mentor high‑performing, multi‑geo teams; optimize team topology and roles.
- Drive DevOps practices (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, SRE handoff).
Financials & Compliance
- Own budgets, forecasts, SOWs/changes, and vendor management.
- Ensure security, privacy, and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR where applicable).
Technical Scope & Stack (must‑have familiarity)
Front end — Web & Mobile
- Mobile: iOS (Swift/SwiftUI), Android (Kotlin/Java), React Native, Flutter
- Supporting: modern CSS, state management (Redux/MobX/NgRx/Pinia), component libraries/design systems, accessibility, performance optimization
Middleware / Integration
Cloud
- AWS: EKS/ECS/Lambda, API Gateway/ALB, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM
Required Qualifications
- 8–12+ years in software delivery, including 4+ years leading multi‑workstream programs.
- Hands‑on background in at least two of: front‑end engineering, API/middleware, cloud, data/analytics, QE automation, Salesforce.
- Proven success delivering enterprise integrations (REST/GraphQL, event‑driven), iPaaS (e.g., MuleSoft/Azure Integration/AWS), and cloud‑native solutions.
- Working knowledge of data platforms (Databricks/Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift), ETL/ELT (dbt/Airflow), and BI (Power BI/Tableau/Looker).
- QE leadership: test strategy, automation frameworks (Cypress/Playwright/Webdriver/Tosca), performance/security testing, and defect leakage control.
- Salesforce program oversight (Sales/Service/Experience Cloud), data model basics, environment & release strategy, and integration patterns.
- Mastery of Agile delivery tools (Jira/Confluence), DevOps/CI‑CD (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps), and infrastructure concepts (Terraform/CloudFormation/Bicep).
- Excellent client communication, negotiation, and executive reporting skills.
Nice to Have
- Domain experience in Banking/Financial Services, Hospitality, or Manufacturing.
- Exposure to security & compliance programs and cost optimization.
Education
- Masters/bachelor's in computer science/engineering/information systems (or equivalent experience). Master’s a plus.
