Job summary

Casepoint seeks an experienced technical writer to craft clear software documentation and user guides for internal and external users from its Surat, India team. You will explain complex features with concise text, create UI text, online help, and developer guides, and develop tutorials for diverse use cases.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years in technical writing, experience with LMS, Camtasia, Snagit, RoboHelp, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical writing for software documentation.
• Ability to deliver high-quality documentation with attention to detail.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and explain them clearly.
• Experience with Confluence is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for internal user groups as well as authorized external users.
• Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides.
• Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications, modules in different use case scenarios.
• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.
• Manage, Update and maintain all technical documentation.
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams in repurposing technical documentation for presentations.
• Mentor and train other technical documentation staff as and when needed

Key job responsibilities:

Required skills & experience
Required 1-5 years of experience.
Should have experience with LMS(Learning Management System), Agile and Camtasia
Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, linguistics or related field(Master’s degree, a plus).
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of working with the Confluence platform is an added advantage., SDLC
