Job summary

Aerospace Services India is seeking a technically adept Technical Writer to join our product team. You will craft clear API docs, user guides, onboarding materials, and troubleshooting articles to support customers and internal teams.

Collaborating with engineering, product management, and UX, you’ll establish style guides, contribute to documentation strategy, and drive content quality across the user journey from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3–5 years of technical writing experience in software or technology.
• Proficient with Markdown/HTML and Git.

Position Summary - We're seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our product team and create exceptional documentation that empowers our users and supports our product goals. You'll collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and UX teams to produce clear, comprehensive documentation that spans the entire user journey, from onboarding guides to advanced feature explanations.

You'll be responsible for developing documentation strategy, creating various content types, and ensuring our technical content meets the highest standards of clarity and usability. The ideal candidate combines strong technical writing skills with user experience thinking and collaborative teamwork abilities.

Key Responsibilities -

• Create and maintain comprehensive API documentation, including code examples and integration guides
• Write user-facing help articles, tutorials, and troubleshooting guides for product features
• Develop onboarding documentation and getting-started guides for new users
• Collaborate with engineering teams to document new features during development cycles
• Create internal documentation including technical specifications, process guides, and runbooks
• Establish and maintain documentation style guides and content standards
• Conduct user research to identify documentation gaps and improvement opportunities
• Optimize existing documentation based on user feedback and analytics data
• Create video tutorials and interactive guides when appropriate
• Manage documentation workflow from planning through publication and maintenance
• Partner with customer support to identify frequently asked questions and pain points
• Review and edit technical content created by subject matter experts

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or related field
