Job summary

An experienced Appian Technical Architect is sought to lead end-to-end Appian BPM solutions in Bengaluru. The role requires hands-on development, architecture, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable automation.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of hands-on Appian experience, deep knowledge of Appian objects, integrations, and DevOps practices, and the ability to design robust enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Appian development and architecture.
• Expertise in Appian Objects: Records, Reports, Tasks, News, Sites, Actions.
• Experience with end-to-end Appian BPM implementations.
• Knowledge of Appian Process, Solution, and Infrastructure Architecture.
• Familiarity with Appian infrastructure: In-Memory KDB Engines, vertical and horizontal scaling.
• Experience with REST and SOAP Web Services integration.
• Experience with ESB technologies like MuleSoft.
• Experience with Embedded SAIL.
• Knowledge of J2EE Design Patterns (JSP, Servlets, EJB, JDBC).
• Experience with SAFe Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
• CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Bitbucket, GitHub, XLR, SonarQube.
• Familiarity with test automation tools Selenium and Tosca.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of Appian BPM solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and deliver end-to-end Appian BPM and intelligent automation solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable architectures.
• Integrate Appian with REST and SOAP services and ESB systems.
• Guide DevOps practices including CI/CD and automated testing.

• Expression Rules, Interface Rules, Query Rules, Constants
• Process Models, CDTs, Decisions, Groups, Feeds
• Web APIs, Integrations, Connected Systems, and Data Stores
• Experience with one or more end‑to‑end Appian BPM implementations.
• Strong knowledge of Appian Process, Solution, and Infrastructure Architecture.
• Experience with Appian infrastructure concepts, including:
• In-Memory KDB Engines
• Vertical and Horizontal Scaling
• Knowledge of Application Servers such as JBOSS and TOMCAT and Web Servers such as Apache.
• Strong experience integrating Appian with REST and SOAP Web Services.
• Experience with ESB technologies such as MuleSoft.
• Experience with Embedded SAIL.
• Knowledge of J2EE Design Patterns and Technologies, including JSP, Java Servlets, EJB, and JDBC.
