Job summary

Luxoft is seeking motivated Appian developers to join our expanding Appian Digital Automation Practice. You will collaborate with global clients on change and digital transformation initiatives and contribute to the Appian Center of Excellence.

You will work within high-performing teams of engineers with strong technical skills and domain knowledge, with opportunities for professional growth and career advancement. Certification reimbursement is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience with Appian, scripting, REST API services, Java and JavaScript.
• Completed at least two end-to-end Appian project implementations.
• Develop and customize integrations using Web API to connect external systems.
• Strong understanding of databases and experience with stored procedures and relational databases (MySQL or SQL Server).
• Design and manage Appian Process Models, Rules & Expressions, and data handling including complex data types.
• Maintain Appian Certification relevant to experience level.
• Adopt an agile mindset and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Demonstrate leadership and ability to transfer knowledge within teams.

Responsibilities

We support cross-training in BPM, RPA, and related technologies through certification reimbursement programs.

Responsibilities

• - Collaborate with the team lead to understand customer requirements and develop the necessary features.
• - Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance Appian-based solutions aligned with prioritized stakeholder requirements, ensuring high quality and performance.
• - Perform production verification testing of developed code during the production release cycle within the change area.
• - Utilize the latest Appian features to automate end-to-end processes effectively.
• - Lead key aspects of solution delivery in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• - Independently and collaboratively assess new technologies, conduct proof of concepts, and share findings within the Appian practice.

SKILLS

Must have

• Hard skills:- Apply a solid foundation in computer science or engineering principles acquired through a bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• Hard skills:- Utilize over three years of software engineering experience with proficiency in Appian, scripting, REST API services, Java, and JavaScript.
• Hard skills:- Execute full lifecycle Appian development, having completed at least two end-to-end Appian project implementations.
• Hard skills:- Develop and customize integrations using Web API and other integration methods to connect and adapt external systems.
• Hard skills:- Leverage a strong understanding of database fundamentals and practical experience with stored procedures and relational databases such as MySQL or SQL Server.
• Hard skills:- Design and manage Appian Process Models, Rules & Expressions, complex data handling (including complex data types and XSDs), SQL queries, inter-process communication, role-based access control, and process reporting on Appian versions 20.X and later.
• Hard skills:- Maintain relevant Appian Certification corresponding to the required experience level.
• Soft skills:- Adopt an agile mindset with familiarity in Agile methodologies to support iterative development and business process automation.
• Soft skills:- Combine technical expertise with business insight and leadership qualities to drive effective solutions.
