Job summary

Tech Catalyst Pvt. Ltd. in Bengaluru seeks a Technical Agricultural Specialist to lead on-ground deployment and calibration of precision agriculture systems across pilot farms and partner sites.

You will oversee IoT sensors, drones, GIS workflows, and farmer-facing dashboards, ensuring field readiness and data accuracy. The role requires hands-on field experience and familiarity with GIS tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or Agricultural Engineering (BSc/MSc).
• 3–5 years of field experience in precision agriculture or related areas.
• Hands-on GIS and basic Python/R knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and calibrate soil sensors, weather stations and irrigation controllers in the field.
• Plan and execute drone missions (scouting, multispectral mapping, spraying) per DGCA norms.
• Process imagery to produce NDVI, vegetation-stress and prescription maps.
• Train farmers and staff on TechCatalyst tools and digital advisory products.
