The role covers classroom and theory training, practical flight training, field demonstrations, operational handholding, training documentation and training content creation. You should have strong hands‑on experience in agricultural drone operations and the ability to train and evaluate pilots in both classroom and field environments.

Bumblebee is built for challenging crops, difficult terrain and demanding plantation environments, with a robust design that supports reliable spraying across diverse agricultural conditions. You will be the person who helps field teams get the best from it.

Key Responsibilities
Agri Drone Training and Instruction
  • Conduct theory and practical training programmes for agricultural drone pilots and operations teams.
  • Train candidates on drone systems, components, controls, flight operations, safety procedures and operational SOPs.
  • Run hands‑on sessions covering drone assembly, pre‑flight inspection, battery handling, calibration, flight preparation and post‑flight procedures.
  • Train pilots on agricultural spraying operations, including field preparation, field marking, flight planning, spraying parameters and operational procedures.
  • Conduct practical flight sessions and evaluate trainee performance.
  • Train pilots on emergency procedures, fail‑safes, abnormal situations and basic troubleshooting.
  • Conduct written, practical and flight assessments to evaluate trainee competency.
  • Give structured feedback and corrective training to trainees.
  • Support the onboarding and skill development of new pilots, co‑pilots, technicians and field teams.
Field Training and Operational Handholding
  • Provide on‑site handholding to newly trained pilots during their first agri‑spray operations.
  • Support field teams in applying SUIND's operational SOPs and safety procedures.
  • Demonstrate safe and efficient drone spraying practices in real agricultural environments.
  • Identify skill gaps among pilots and provide corrective and refresher training.
  • Support operations teams during new crop, location or application trials.
  • Run field demonstrations for customers, partners, dealers and other stakeholders when required.
Training Documentation and SOP Development
  • Develop and maintain training manuals, SOPs, checklists, practical guides and assessment materials.
  • Prepare training schedules, lesson plans, practical exercises and evaluation formats.
  • Maintain trainee training records and performance reports.
  • Document field training observations, common mistakes, technical issues and corrective actions.
  • Update training materials regularly based on operational feedback, product improvements and changes in SOPs.
  • Maintain a structured training repository for the Operations and Training teams.
Training Content Creation
  • Create structured content for classroom, online and practical training sessions.
  • Develop presentations, training videos, demonstrations, diagrams, checklists, quick‑reference guides and instructional material.
  • Create instructional videos covering drone operation, maintenance, spraying practices, safety, troubleshooting and field procedures.
  • Develop content for beginner, intermediate and advanced trainees.
  • Create visual and digital learning material that helps trainees understand and retain what they learn.
  • Work closely with the Operations, Technical, Product and Engineering teams so that training content reflects real field requirements.
Use of AI Tools for Training and Content Creation
  • Use AI tools to support the development of training content, presentations, manuals, SOPs, assessments, videos and other learning materials.
  • Use AI tools for research, content structuring, instructional design, visual content creation and training material enhancement.
  • Explore and apply AI‑enabled methods to improve the efficiency and quality of training delivery.
  • Use AI tools to create quizzes, assessments, knowledge checks, learning aids and trainee‑support material.
  • Keep evaluating new AI tools that can improve training and content development workflows.
Technical and Product Training
  • Build strong product knowledge of Bumblebee and its associated systems.
  • Train users on the GCS and software, flight planning, flight parameters, spraying parameters, operational dashboards and other relevant digital tools.
  • Coordinate with the Technical and Product teams to understand product updates and bring them into training programmes.
