Job summary

Birla Elevators in Rajasthan is seeking a skilled technician to handle installation, preventive and breakdown maintenance of elevators and escalators. You will perform testing, commissioning, and safety inspections, ensuring reliable operation and compliance with site regulations.

The role requires an ITI or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics and hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems, with strong problem-solving and customer-focused service on-site.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related discipline.
• Experience in elevators, escalators, electrical maintenance, or industrial equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installation & Maintenance
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of elevators and escalators.
• Carry out installation, testing, and commissioning activities as assigned.
• Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Attend service calls and rectify issues within stipulated timelines.
• Replace defective components and perform corrective maintenance.
• Safety & Compliance
• Follow company safety policies and site regulations.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and report hazards.
• Maintain service records and documentation accurately.
• Customer Support
• Coordinate with customers regarding maintenance activities.
• Address customer concerns professionally and promptly.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through quality service delivery.
• Reporting
• Submit daily service reports and maintenance checklists.
• Update supervisors on pending issues and site requirements.
