Birla Elevators is seeking a Service Supervisor to lead elevator maintenance operations and ensure high service quality. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, quick breakdown resolution, and efficient service delivery, with emphasis on safety and documentation.

The ideal candidate will supervise technicians, manage maintenance routes, and foster strong relationships with building management and customers, while supporting AMC renewals and service contracts.

Formación

Job Summary

The Service Supervisor is responsible for supervising elevator maintenance operations, ensuring high service quality, quick resolution of breakdowns, and effective management of service technicians. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, customer satisfaction, safety compliance, and efficient service operations.

Key Responsibilities

Service Operations

• Supervise daily maintenance and service activities of elevators and escalators.
• Ensure preventive maintenance (PM) is carried out as per AMC schedule.
• Monitor and resolve breakdown calls within defined TAT.
• Conduct site visits to monitor service quality and technical issues.

Team Management

• Supervise and lead a team of service technicians and helpers.
• Assign maintenance routes and breakdown calls.
• Provide technical guidance for troubleshooting elevator issues.
• Monitor technician productivity, attendance, and discipline.

Customer Relationship

• Maintain strong relationships with building management and customers.
• Address service complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Support AMC renewals and service contract management.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all service activities follow company safety policies and statutory regulations.
• Conduct safety audits and ensure technicians use proper tools and PPE.
• Ensure compliance with local lift inspection norms and documentation.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain service records, maintenance logs, and breakdown reports.
• Track spare parts consumption and coordinate with stores.
• Submit weekly/monthly service reports to management.

Qualification

• Btech, Diploma / ITI in Electrical, Electronics, Engineering.

Experience

• 10–15 years of experience in elevator / lift service and maintenance.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory or team handling role preferred.

• Knowledge of safety and statutory lift regulations
• Basic reporting and documentation skills
