Job summary

Kotak Mahindra Bank in Mumbai seeks an experienced Credit Underwriter for Large Corporates to prepare credit appraisal notes, discuss terms, and gather information for CRANs. You will monitor accounts per sanctions and submit inspection reports.

Candidates with 3–6 years in corporate credit underwriting, preferably pharma exposure, CA or MBA, and strong communication and presentation skills will excel in this role.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in credit underwriting for large corporates.
• Experience in pharma sector credit analysis is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare credit appraisal notes for SME/large corporate clients.
• Discuss terms and conditions for risk assessments with business teams.
• Collect information for CRANs and ensure completeness.
• Monitor accounts based on sanctions and risk parameters.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly monitoring reports for the portfolio.
• Escalate with action plans for non-compliances.
• Visit units and submit inspection reports.
• Address escalations related to risk assessments.

• Discuss with customers for obtention of information for preparation of CRANs.
• Monitor the accounts based on the terms stipulated by Sanctioning Authority.
• Prepare Monthly/Quarterly Monitoring Reports for the portfolio.
• Escalate with action plan for non-compliances.
• Visit the units and submit inspection reports.
• Manage and address any escalations related to risk assessments

Job Requirements:

• Experience required for the Job: 3-6 years in Credit Underwriting for Large Corporates.
• Experience in Pharma sector credit analysis would be preferred (not mandatory).
