Job summary

PI Industries Ltd in Udaipur seeks a Master Data Management specialist to manage end-to-end master data services and ensure data integrity across functions. You will handle data requests, ERP records, and stakeholder communications while working towards a centralized MDM model.

Requirements include 2–4 years in Master Data, strong MS Excel, and SAP/S4HANA knowledge. Commerce background with CA/CMA and MBA Finance is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• B.Com and CA / CMA qualifications.
• MBA (Finance) in full-time mode.
• 2–4 years’ experience with 1–2 years in Master Data.
• Knowledge of SAP / S4 HANA is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review and update Master Data Requests.
• Report to Team Lead on incomplete or clarifications as required.
• Check if Master data records exist in ERP for new requests.
• Determine if requests comply with defined rules.
• Collaborate with MDM stakeholders for centralized model.
• Notify requesters on status of requests.
• Setting up records in the ERP system.
• Create/modify Master data records per details and standards.
• Clean-up of Vendor, Material, Customer & Finance Master Data.
• Classify & categorize materials to standard taxonomy.
• Support project queries and stakeholder requests.
• Follow the process flow and communicate delays.
• Coordinate with internal & client stakeholders.
• Identify tasks and report to internal and client stakeholders.
• Support other initiatives in the larger MDM team.

Position Description

Location: Udaipur

Reporting to (Title): Lead – Master Data Management

Position Purpose

The incumbent will be required to manage end-to-end master data services across functions as a team member along with other master data management experts to deliver the implementation of master data services

Strategic Responsibilities

Operational Responsibilities

• Receive, review and update Master Data Request (webform / template form / tool)
• Report to Team Lead on all requests which are incomplete / incorrect or any clarifications if required
• Check if Master data record exists in the ERP system for new requests
• Determine if Master data record request complies with standard defined rules
• Determine Open Master data records for Transaction & Positions
• Collaborate with all MDM stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to a centralized MDM model
• Notify Requesters & stakeholders on the status of the requests (create, modify, block & unblock)
• Setting up records in the ERP system
• Create & modify Master records basis the requested details along with logic & standards.
• Clean-up of Master data domains (Vendor, Material, Customer & Finance Master Data)
• Classify & Categorize Materials to standard taxonomy and classification codes
• Supporting all project related queries and handling requests from key stake holders
• Should able to follow the process flow
• Communicate to the originator on the status update (reasons for delay)
• Coordinate with stake holders (internal & Client)
• Determine all tasks to be completed and report to internal as well client side stake holders
• Supports other initiatives in the larger MDM Team
