Job summary

Thompsons HR Consulting Pvt Ltd in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Expert for a 6-month engagement. The role requires deep hands-on SAP MDM, governance, and data quality expertise to manage Customer, Vendor, Material and other master data domains.

You will lead data governance initiatives, monitor SLA/KPI metrics, mentor junior MDM staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Master Data Management experience.
• Hands-on SAP MDM implementation and governance.
• Experience managing multiple master data domains (MDM).
• Proficient in SLA/KPI monitoring and reporting.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Expert to join our team

Location: Hyderabad

Work Mode: Work from Office (WFO)

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Experience: 15+ Years

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, Employee & Contractor Master Data
• Ensure master data quality and adherence to defined SLA and governance standards
• Lead continuous MDM process improvement initiatives
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Perform periodic blocking of inactive master data
• Support internal audits related to master data processes
• Perform Restricted Party Screening (RPS) and investigate positive alerts
• Maintain RPS sanction lists and Commodity Codes for Material Master Data
• Participate in RPS Escalation Committee meetings to resolve positive matches
• Monitor and report MDM performance metrics
• Lead and mentor junior MDM team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional business and governance teams
