Job summary

CIRCOR is seeking a Team Leader for Technical Sales & Customer Service to support the Radolfzell and Bottrop teams from Thane, India. You will lead an order-entry team, manage quotations, ensure timely responses, and maintain strong customer relations while aligning with CIRCOR policies and guidance.

Responsibilities include KPI definition, coaching, process improvement, and cross-department coordination to improve delivery and service levels for pumps and spares.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SSC TS&CS Order entry team with clear directions and a customer-centric mindset.
• Develop, motivate and coach direct reports.
• Define KPIs and review performance regularly.
• Drive process improvements, CRM views, and help with tool enhancements.
• Train the team on quotations and order entry for FM pumps.
• Monitor backlog and capacity to meet target response times.
• Communicate proactively with Sales, Customers and Team on delays.
• Coordinate quotes and orders cross-department and ensure internal alignment.
• Oversee daily Operations and Supply Chain for query status and countermeasures.
• Create sales orders and quotations for spares and pumps in the SAP/CRM system.
• Ensure export control compliance per CIRCOR requirements.

POSITION DETAILS

Position Summary

Team Lead TS&CS is primarily responsible to support the Technical Sales & Customer Service teams located in Radolfzell and Bottrop with Quotation and Order Entry tasks as assigned carefully, timely, and provide support to our customers, at any time in full compliance with Circor policy and received other guidance.

• Lead the SSC Technical Sales & Customer Service Order entry team by giving directions and ensuring that they are performing with a strong customer orientated mindset.
• Responsible for developing, motivating and coach direct reports.
• Define the KPIs for the team and ensure regular review.
• Responsible for process improvements like generating or managing CRM Views and provide input for further process and tool improvements.
• Train the team on quotations and order entry for FM pumps
• Oversee and manage backlog figures for inquiries and orders assigned to the team and manage capacity to achieve response times as per target values.
• Ensure proactive communication to the Sales department/Customer/Team in the event of a foreseeable delay in delivery for orders and quotes.
• Cross-departmental coordination of quote and order-related priorities and ensuring internal communication.
• Organization and execution of daily management (Operations and Supply Chain) regarding query order status, identify delays, initiate, and elevate countermeasures if necessary.
• Creating sales orders and quotations for spares and pumps via the CRM system in SAP.
• Ensure export control compliance with legal and CIRCOR requirements.
• Follow-up on orders and quotations.

Education & Experience

• 5+ years professional experience in pumps or rotating equipment business
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Team Handling role.
• Graduate in Engineering / MBA (preferred)
