TVS Motor Company in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, seeks a skilled professional for Central Procurement (OPNS) to ensure 100% parts availability and optimize supplier performance. You will coordinate with suppliers to maintain stock, monitor schedules, and support NPD ramp-up initiatives.

Ideal candidates have strong manufacturing knowledge, problem solving skills, and a proactive approach to inventory management. This role is based on-site in Hosur and reports to Unit Manager in OPNS – Central Procurement.

Qualifications

Experience with measurement and metrology in manufacturing environments.
Strong quality assurance and control knowledge for production.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and systems; able to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

Ensuring 100% parts availability as per the prod plan/day plan.
Maintain min. stock of parts at supplier end.
Monitor schedule vs supply daily and work on gaps.
Maintain min. stock of the critical parts at supplier end.
Achieve spares requirement of bought out parts as per daily plan.
Achieve supplier Kanban/2-bin performance as per target.
Evaluate supplier delivery performance weekly and drive improvements.
Maintain inventory as per norms and work towards optimization.
Coordinate with New Product Development team to facilitate NPD ramp up.

Purposeof the role

1. Ensuring the 100% partsavailability as per the prod plan / day plan.
2. Maintain min. Stock of the partsat Supplier end
3. Monitoring of schedule Vs supplyon daily basis & work on gaps.
