Job summary

Vashi Integrated Solutions in Mumbai seeks an experienced Team Lead for Indirect Procurement to lead a dedicated procurement team and drive strategic sourcing initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 8-10 years in industrial procurement and 2-3 years of team leadership, with strong P2P, RFQ, ERP experience, and vendor management skills. Expect up to 10% travel as needed.

• Procure-to-Pay Management - PR to PO conversion & timely PO execution
• RFQ Handling - Floating enquiries, comparative analysis & commercial negotiations
• Master Data Management - Item code creation & maintaining accurate procurement data
• Procurement Planning - Managing lead times, consumption & reorder levels
• Cross-functional Coordination - Stores, Accounts, Operations & Planning teams
• Cost Optimization - Alternate sourcing, bulk buying & long-term procurement strategies
• ERP Knowledge - SAP S/4 HANA or any ERP system preferred
• Team Leadership - Building & mentoring a high-performing procurement team
• Stakeholder Management - Strong communication with internal & external partners
• 10% Travel (Vendor audits & strategic meetings)
• Knowledge of VMI and Indirect Procurement preferred

Responsibilities
