Job summary

Welmade Locking Systems Pvt Ltd in Maharashtra's Pune district is seeking a Safety and Administration professional with 2-5 years of manufacturing experience. You will implement and monitor workplace safety systems and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and ISO standards.

The role includes conducting audits, organizing toolbox talks, daily rounds, and supporting administrative functions such as inventory and facility upkeep. A NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety or related field.
• 2-5 years in Safety and Administration in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Factory Act and applicable safety regulations.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, and 5S.
• ADIS / NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor safety systems per ISO 45001/14001.
• Conduct safety audits, near-miss reviews, and corrective actions.
• Organize TBTs, safety training for employees, contractors, visitors.
• Daily safety rounds and cross-functional audits.
• Admin tasks: stationery, procurement, MIS, utilities.
• Promote safety culture across all departments.

Job description

• Implement and monitor workplace safety systems in line with statutoryrequirements and ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 standards.
• Conduct safety audits, including NC audits, near miss identification, rootcause analysis, and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
• Organize and conduct Tool Box Talks (TBT), safety awareness sessions, andinduction training for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Carry out daily safety rounds and joint safety observations withSBU/department heads.
• Participate in and conduct Cross Functional Team (CFT) audits and ensurehorizontal deployment of best safety practices.
• Track and update safety Kaizen initiatives and continuous improvementactions.
• Conduct 5S audits and ensure compliance with workplace organizationstandards.
• Maintain emergency preparedness systems including fire extinguisherinspections, refilling, and MIS records.
• Administration
  • Manage and maintain stationery and consumable inventories to ensureuninterrupted availability.
  • Coordinate procurement of stationery and consumable items as per approvedlists and budget.
  • Maintain accurate MIS and expense records for administrative consumables andutilities.
  • Coordinate facility-related activities such as water tank cleaning, pestcontrol, fogging, and hygiene services.
  • Ensure availability and control of QC OK stickers and other safety orquality identification materials.
  • Coordinate monthly submission of water bills and monitor utility expenses.
• Conduct safety awareness programs and training sessions for employees andcontractors.
• Promote a culture of safety across all departments.

Competency (Candidate Profile)

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in Safety and Administration roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of statutory compliance under the Factory Act and applicable safetyregulations.
• Working knowledge of ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, and 5S systems.
• ADIS / NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent safety certification preferred.
