Job summary

JobItUs in Dahej (Gujarat) seeks an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with 4–8 years in plant maintenance. You will conduct maintenance as per schedules, perform RCA on breakdowns, carry out spares management, and support Capex and commissioning activities for new plants.

The role requires hands-on experience with chemical process equipment, rotating machinery, and related systems, along with knowledge of SAP basics and a strong focus on safety and process improvements.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical from AICTE approved institute.
• 4–8 years of experience in plant maintenance.
• Hands-on with chemical process equipment and associated systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance as per defined checklist and schedule.
• Carry out RCA for repetitive plant breakdowns and implement actions.
• Maintenance of plant equipment and breakdown repairs.
• Undertake spares management and inventory control.
• Execute small Capex projects as per planning.
• Plan and execute shutdown activities per schedule.
• Perform 5S & TQM activities in the plant.
• Ensure plant safety procedures and train team members.
• Coordinate with project team for commissioning New Plants.
• Hands-on experience with chemical process equipment (rotating & basic).
• Knowledge of packing machines, heat exchangers, de-dusting & conveying systems, spray dryer, VFBD, SAP basics, magnetic pumps, Capex execution, preventive and predictive maintenance, and process safety.

Education : BE - Mechanical (Full time Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from AICTE approved institute)

Experience - 4 to 8 years

• Conduct maintenance as per defined checklist and schedule.
• Carry out RCA for repetitive breakdowns in the plant and implement.
• Carry out breakdown maintenance of the plant equipment.
