Job summary

JobItUs in India seeks a skilled maintenance technician to oversee plant machinery upkeep, preventive and corrective maintenance, and shutdown activities. The role covers mechanical rotating and static equipment such as air compressors, air dryers, pumps, and heat exchangers.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, prepare reports, RCA analyses, and ensure proper documentation, while engaging in vendor development and budget monitoring.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in plant machinery maintenance.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance and shutdown activities.
• Maintains mechanical rotating and static equipment such as air compressors, air dryers, cooling towers.
• Experience with pumps, blowers, agitators, heat exchangers, valves, vessels, steam pipelines.
• Familiar with fabrication, erection and commissioning of equipment and piping.
• Strong fault diagnosis and RCA preparation.
• Maintains calibration and history reports and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and breakdown analysis to prevent repeat failures.
• Prepare RCA and MBF analyses.
• Maintain history and calibration reports (GPC, LLF, form 10).
• Prepare daily progress, preventive and breakdown reports.
• Attend daily mechanical meetings and report progress.
• PR and PO activities and budget monitoring.
• Vendor development and spare parts sourcing.

Job description

Hand on experience on Plant machinery maintenance .

Sound knowledge on Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance and Shutdown Activities.

Maintenance works for various Mechanical rotating and static equipment's like Air compressor, Air Dryer, Cooling Tower etc.

Maintenance work of Pumps, Blower, Agitator, Heat exchanger, Valves, Vessels, Steam & pipelines of Metallic and Non-Metallic MOC.

Compressor, Roots Blower, Agitator, Mechanical seal, Thermosiphon reboiler, Shall& Tube Evopariser, Shall & Tube Reactor, Heat exchanger , Vacuum system like

ejector .

Knowledge of fabrication, erection and commissioning of equipment & piping.

Trouble-shooting & Breakdown analysis to prevent repeat failures and Quick fault diagnosis.

Preparation of RCA. Analysis of MBF.

Maintain History reports and Documentation like GPC , LLF, Calibration report form 10 etc.

Day-to-day preparation report of Progress report, Preventive report, machine breakdown report,

Work permit report, attendance/Overtime report of technicians and submitting them to manager.

Attending daily Mechanical meeting and submitting the daily progress report.

Sound knowledge on Project document like PFD,PID, Isometric, Machine drawing

Interfaces with other disciplines and third parties.

PR and PO activities, Budget monitoring

Knowledge of Kaizen activities and 5
