The role focuses on AR follow-up, denial management, appeals, and team leadership to achieve targets and improve collections.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of US Healthcare RCM experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of AR Callers and Denial Specialists.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and SLA adherence.
• Drive resolution of unpaid, underpaid, and denied claims.
• Handle escalations and complex claim scenarios.
• Analyze denial trends and implement corrective actions.
• Review aging reports and ensure timely follow-up.
• Manage appeals, reconsiderations, and resubmissions.
• Conduct team huddles and coaching sessions.
• Ensure payer guideline compliance.
• Collaborate with Billing, Coding, and Operations teams.
• Prepare and present operational reports.
• Drive process improvement to reduce AR days.

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead - AR Calling & Denials to manage and drive performance for our Hospital Billing (UB04) process. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Accounts Receivable follow-up, Denial Management, Appeals, and Team Leadership. The role requires a proven ability to achieve operational targets, improve collections, reduce denials, and lead a high-performing team within the US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of AR Callers and Denial Specialists.
• Monitor team productivity, quality, and adherence to client SLAs.
• Drive resolution of unpaid, underpaid, and denied claims.
• Handle escalations and complex claim scenarios.
• Analyze denial trends and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Review aging reports and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding accounts.
• Manage appeals, reconsiderations, and claim resubmissions.
• Conduct regular team huddles, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
• Ensure compliance with payer guidelines and client requirements.
• Collaborate with Billing, Coding, Payment Posting, and Operations teams to improve overall process performance.
• Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance collections and reduce AR days.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in AR Calling and Denials Management.
• Hands-on experience in UB04 Hospital Billing.
• Expertise in Appeals, Underpayment Analysis, and Claim Resolution.
• Good understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial Payers.
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and Revenue Codes.
• Experience handling high-value hospital accounts and complex denials.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in RCM reporting and performance management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in US Healthcare RCM.
• At least 1-2 years of Team Lead experience on papers.
• Experience managing team productivity, quality, and client metrics.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced US healthcare environment.
