Easiertrades Pte. Ltd. in Delhi seeks a hands‑on Team Lead for Payment Operations to manage end‑to‑end cross‑border money movement, including collections, payouts, settlements, refunds, and reconciliation with strict adherence to SLAs.

You will drive process improvements, build SOPs, dashboards, and reports, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Partnerships, Sales, Finance and Risk & Compliance to improve payment workflows using automation and AI where possible.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in payment operations within a payment gateway or fintech.
• Hands-on experience in cross-border payment operations.
• Strong knowledge of reconciliations, settlements, refunds, and exception management.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders across functions.
• Analytical, communicative, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end cross-border payment operations, including collections, payouts, settlements, reconciliations, refunds, and exceptions.
• Ensure timely transactions with high accuracy and strict SLA adherence.
• Drive process improvements and workflow optimization.
• Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and controls.
• Investigate payment issues and perform RCA.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Partnerships, Sales, Finance, and Risk & Compliance.
• Identify opportunities to automate and use AI to boost productivity.
• Create and maintain SOPs, dashboards, and reports.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Team Lead – Payment Operations with hands‑on experience in cross‑border payment operations to manage end‑to‑end payment processing, reconciliations, settlements, refunds, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate should be analytical, process‑driven, and passionate about improving operational efficiency through automation and AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end cross‑border payment operations, including collections, payouts, settlements, reconciliations, refunds, and exception handling.
• Ensure timely execution of transactions while maintaining high operational accuracy.
• Drive process improvements, workflow optimization, and operational excellence.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and operational controls.
• Investigate payment issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and manage operational escalations.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Partnerships, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, and Risk & Compliance to improve payment workflows.
• Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI to improve productivity and reduce manual effort.
• Create and maintain SOPs, dashboards, and operational reports.

Must Have

• 5+ years of experience in Payment Operations within a Payment Gateway or FinTech environment.
• Hands‑on experience in Cross‑Border Payment Operations.
• Strong understanding of reconciliations, settlements, refunds, and payment exception management.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders across business functions.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n, Make, or Zapier.
• Basic knowledge of Python, JSON, SQL, or APIs.
• Exposure to AI‑driven operational workflows and automation initiatives.
