Job summary

DSP Mutual Fund in Bengaluru is seeking a Team Lead to own and drive the MFD channel, covering Cat A & Cat B distributors. This leadership role focuses on expanding the distributor network, deepening relationships, and fueling AUM growth through the MFD ecosystem.

You will lead the MFD channel team, onboard new partners, plan client meets, and ensure product penetration aligns with the fund philosophy and targets.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in mutual fund/asset management/BFSI with a strong track record in MFD or distributor channel management
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage a large distributor network
• Strong understanding of MFD landscape and channel economics

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end relationship management and business growth across Cat A and Cat B MFD partners
• Lead, mentor, and drive performance of the MFD channel team
• Identify and onboard new MFDs, expanding reach in untapped markets
• Plan and execute regular client meets and joint calls with MFDs to deepen engagement
• Drive product penetration in line with fund philosophy and AUM targets
• Track channel performance against targets and drive course corrections
• Represent DSP Mutual Fund in distributor reviews and strategic conversations

This is a leadership role responsible for expanding DSP's distributor network, deepening existing relationships and driving AUM growth through the MFD ecosystem.

Primary job responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end relationship management and business growth across Cat A and Cat B MFD partners
• Lead, mentor, and drive performance of the MFD channel team
• Identify and onboard new MFDs, with a focus on expanding reach in untapped markets
• Plan and execute regular client meets and joint calls with MFDs to deepen engagement
• Drive product penetration in line with company's fund philosophy and AUM targets
• Track channel performance against targets and drive course corrections as needed
• Represent DSP Mutual Fund in key distributor reviews and strategic conversations

What We're Looking For

• 12+ years of experience in the mutual fund / asset management / BFSI industry, with a strong track record in MFD or distributor channel management
