Job summary

Maier Vidorno Altios (Bangalore) seeks a Team Lead Electronical Engineer to spearhead the electronics team for industrial sensor development. You will drive design from concept to pilot, ensuring quality and compliance, while coordinating with EMS partners and cross-functional teams in a global setting.

The role requires a strong electronics background, 10+ years in the field, and proven leadership. You will mentor engineers, manage multiple projects, and uphold rigorous testing and reliability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of electronics development experience, preferably in sensor tech/industrial electronics.
  • Experience in technical leadership and team building.
  • Excellent circuit design skills (analog signal processing, low-noise, EMC-friendly layouts).
  • Experience in transitioning prototypes to mass production (DFM/DFT).
  • Strong communication skills in cross-functional settings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of electronics engineers, fostering technical excellence and development.
  • Oversee design of industrial sensors from concept to series production with quality standards.
  • Develop detailed specifications meeting CE and industry standards.
  • Hardware project management within interdisciplinary teams and coordination with external partners.

  • Analyze test results and perform robustness analyses.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Lead a team of electronics engineers, fostering both technical excellence and personal development
  • Lead the design process of industrial sensors from initial concept through to series production, ensuring high-quality and performance standards are met.
  • Develop detailed specifications ensuring compliance with industry standards such as CE.
  • Take responsibility for hardware project management within interdisciplinary and international teams, including coordination with external partners
  • Coordinate with Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) providers and manage supplier and component qualification
  • Support products throughout the entire lifecycle, from initial development to post-production support and troubleshooting
  • Analyze test results and conduct design robustness analyses, such as margin and failure mode analysis
  • Develop production test specifications, collaborate with partners to ensure smooth transition to mass production, and provide ongoing support for series products
  • Manage and guide a team of electronics engineers, even in resource-constrained environments.
  • Train and mentor other engineers in areas such as schematic design, layout, sample testing, and reliability testing
  • Participate in technical investigations, analyze test results, and resolve any discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a com parable qualification
  • At least 10+ years of experience in electronics development, ideally in sensor technology, measurement systems, or industrial electronics
  • Experience in technical leadership and team building
  • Excellent circuit design skills, especially in analog signal processing, low noise design, EMC-compliant layout, and industrial measurement circuits
  • Strong experience in measurement and verification (e.g., oscilloscopes, noise measurements, calibration)
  • Experience in transitioning prototypes to series production (e.g., DFM, DFT, collaboration with manufacturing and quality teams)
  • Ability to develop technical solutions from the ground up, without relying on existing reference designs
  • Structured, analytical mindset with a high level of selfmotivation
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in crossfunctional settings
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to present to stakeholders and managers.
