Job summary

Siemens Energy in Gurugram is seeking a senior Civil Engineer to plan and design RCC and steel structures for industrial facilities, along with outdoor and underground utilities for power and industrial projects.

The role requires leading a team of civil engineers, communicating complex technical information to stakeholders, and delivering quality results under tight schedules in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Willingness to travel within India and beyond may be expected.

Qualifications

• B.E/B.Tech or M.Tech in Civil Engineering with 20+ years of relevant experience in the Energy sector.
• Strong working knowledge of civil and structural design codes, including Eurocodes, Indian Standards and American codes.
• Hands on experience with civil/structural analysis and design software, such as STAAD Pro & Dlubal/RSTAB.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, for engineering calculations, documentation, and communication.
• Working knowledge of 3D modeling and BIM tools such as Revit, Tekla, E3D, or Civil 3D will be considered an added advantage.

• Planning and design of outdoor and underground utilities, such as roads, stormwater drainage, and associated infrastructure for power and industrial projects.
• Ability to collect, develop, analyze, and clearly communicate technical information to internal stakeholders, multidisciplinary teams, and external clients.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team of civil engineers while maintaining quality and meeting project deadlines.
• Self-motivated and results oriented, with the flexibility to perform effectively under tight schedules in a fast paced, collaborative team environment.
