Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Kalwa (Airoli) seeks a strategic professional with strong analytical and communication skills to drive corporate strategy, market intelligence, and sustainability initiatives. The role involves coordinating with the CEO’s office and reporting to the Strategy head.

You will develop competitor analyses, market insights, and presentations for leadership, with opportunities to travel within India. Prior strategy or business development experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Engineer / CA. MBA is an added advantage.
• 08-10 years’ work experience in business or corporate functions.
• Strong result and quality orientation with ability to draw a robust project plan and network with stakeholders.
• Experience in strategy / business development is advantageous.
• Strong analytical ability and comprehension skills.
• Executive presence, compelling communication skills and presentation skills.
• Willingness to extend working hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Collate business intelligence data from industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased sources.
• Monitor economy situation and communicate its outline to SIL leadership.
• Understand market modeling and analyze opportunity pockets by business area.
• Monitor industry trends to identify future growth markets.
• Develop and maintain competitor profiles including SWOT and financial analysis.
• Discuss and synchronize with BUs for selected competitors; publish monthly analyses.
• Support CEO’s office by preparing content for CEO presentations and internal townhalls.
• Prepare information dossiers for senior leadership and for CEO meetings.

This role is one of Individual contributor, part of the corporate Strategy team, working with the Head of Strategy and Sustainability, Siemens Ltd. India. You will drive multiple topics including developing / monitoring corporate Strategy, Strategic Program management, Knowledge creation and sustainability (small part) across the organization.

A] The different dimensions of the role include:

• a.As and when required, collate business intelligence data from available industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased sources
• b.Economy: Monitoring economy situation from various sources, and documenting and communicating its outline with leadership team of SIL
• c.Markets intelligence: Understanding market modeling and analyzing opportunity pockets, business wise
• d.Monitor industry trends and assessment of opportunities to identify future growth markets.
• a)As project mission demands, develop and maintain required competitor profiles including SWOT and financial analysis
• b)Discuss and synchronize with Business/ BUs for selected competitors
• c)Publish monthly competitor analysis basis annual reports / MCA reports / Analyst reports

3. Supporting CEO’s office:

• a.Research and develop content for CEO presentations (e.g. Customer Meetings / Govt. interactions e.g. PMO meeting, Industry Association conferences, etc...)
• c.Prepare internal presentations e.g. Townhalls, SIBC etc.
• d.Prepare information dossier for senior leadership such as MBM
• e.Prepare information dossier for our CEO for his meetings with Industry captains, from time to time

B] Qualification / Experience / Skill Sets required

• 1.Engineer / CA. MBA is an added advantage!
• 2.~ 08-10 years’ work experience in business or corporate functions
• 3.The deliverables of the role indirectly impact CEO’s image. Hence the candidate must possess a very strong result and quality orientation. This entails ability to draw a robust project plan, network with wide range of stakeholders – India and SAG
• 4.The role entails a very strong ability to translate thoughts / ideas into a powerful visual that can be socialized across organization. Hence prior experience in the area of strategy / business development will be an added advantage
• 5.Strong growth mindset: Must possess to step out of comfort zone; willing to learn such domains they have not been hitherto exposed to
• 6.Strong analytical ability and comprehension skills.
• 7.This role entails frequent meetings with executive management. The candidate must have a strong executive presence, compelling communication skills (Oral & written) and presentation skills
• 8.Candidate should be hard working, needing to extend working hours when situation demands
• 9.Very high order of trust and dependability. The position entails dealing with sensitive data on regular basis.
