Job summary

Siemens Energy in Pune is seeking a Senior Executive – Factory Interface Engineering to lead a small team of 3-4 engineers and drive all factory and procurement related engineering activities for substations. You will design GIS AIS/GIS substation models using Primtech, prepare BOMs in SAP SPIRIDON, and create project-specific manufacturing drawings while meeting Indian and international standards.

• Providing technical support to Procurement & Manufacturing related queries
• Working on multiple projects / substations in India and abroad
• Working for High Voltage Manufacturing Hub

• You’ll be leading a team of 3-4 working engineers and will handle all Factory & Procurement related engineering activities.
• You’ll be preparing 3D Model of GIS substation using A-CAD based PLM tool (Primtech)
• You’ll be preparing Bill of Material using SAP SPIRIDON
• You’ll be preparing Project specific manufacturing & site drawings
• You’ll be providing technical Support to Procurement & Manufacturing related queries
• You’ll be working for multiple projects / substations in India and abroad.
• You’ll be working for High Voltage Manufacturing Hub.

What you need to make real what matters.

• You are an Electrical Engineer (Diploma with 8-10 years of work experience / Graduate with 6-8 years of work experience / Master with 4-5 years of work experience)
• You have hands‑on experience in design and engineering for Substations (Air Insulated Substation / Gas Insulated Substation)
• You are proficient with Microsoft Excel and well versed with ERP tools like SAP for BoM preparation.
• You've sound technical knowledge and in depth understanding of international and Indian standards.
• You've hands on design experience for multiple projects in substation design and have deep understanding of customer specification for several customers.
