Job summary

ZF India Pvt. Ltd. in Pune seeks a Team Lead - Catalog Data Operations to drive functional and technical leadership for a ~10‑person team.

You will coordinate catalog data linkages with Europe/IMEA, manage master data updates to ensure catalog integrity, and collaborate with Sales, IT and Category Management on layout and implementation. You will also oversee resource planning, recruitment, and performance reviews, while developing catalog expertise and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a similar role (technical + lead).
• Deep knowledge of personnel planning, recruitment and evaluation processes.
• Familiarity with catalog systems (TecDoc) and print production coordination.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration (Marketing, Sales, Category Management, IT).
• Expertise in standardization, process documentation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional and technical leadership to a team of about 10 in India.

Job Description

- Functional & technical leadership of a team (approx. 10 employees) in India location

- Performance evaluations using standardized tools and methods

- Coordination of catalog data linkages (Europe/IMEA region) and continuous improvement initiatives (only for catalog data – Article criteria, vehicle linkages & criteria)

- Master data update management (CDB, TecDoc standards) ensuring catalog integrity and compliance

- Interface with Sales, Category Management, and IT for layout requirements and technical implementations.

- Resource planning, recruitment, and deployment considering labor laws, and qualifications

- Creation and maintenance of job descriptions and personnel requirements. Conducting employee interviews, including challenging conversations (e.g., performance reviews)

- Develop and strengthen catalog expertise by mentoring experts, sharing knowledge, and establishing technical competency frameworks.

Your profile as Team Lead - Catalog Data Operations:

- Relevant bachelor's degree (up to 4 years) or higher, plus extended subject-specific specialization.

- 8+ years of experience in the similar role (Technical + lead)

- In-depth knowledge of personnel planning, recruitment, and evaluation processes

- Familiarity with catalog systems (e.g., TecDoc) and print production coordination

- Experience in cross-functional collaboration (Marketing, Sales, Category Management, IT)

- Methodological knowledge in standardization, process documentation, and continuous improvement

- High organizational and coordination competency, especially across international teams and systems.
