Job summary

ZF Group in India is seeking a Hardware Development Engineer Design to join our automotive electronics team in Hyderabad. You will architect and design electronic circuits for automotive applications, ensuring standard-compliant solutions and providing development documentation.

The role requires 3–5 years of hardware design experience, proficiency in embedded electronics and power electronics, and familiarity with CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, and ISO26262.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Hardware Development Engineer
• Experience in electronics in the automotive sector under standard aspects
• Knowledge of ISO26262 and safety standards
• Embedded electronics design and/or power electronics circuit design
• Knowledge of microcontroller, power supply design, analog/digital circuits
• CAN/LIN/I2C/SPI/Ethernet interfaces knowledge
• Experience with development tools (EDA), measurement and simulation tools
• Ability to work in a structured, cost-conscious, analytical way

• Experience in the development of electronics in the automotive sector under standard aspects. Good knowledge on embedded electronics design and/ or power electronics circuit design
• Having knowledge on Electric vehicle power train architecture is an added advantage
• Good knowledge on microcontroller, power supply design, Analog and digital circuit design, Communication interfaces like CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI and Ethernet.
• Very good knowledge in the use of development tools (EDA software Mentor Graphics, measuring instruments, simulation tools "P-SPICE", etc.)
• Knowledge of functional safety standard ISO26262. Experience in project implementation in the automotive sector
