Job summary

Epicons Consultants in Mumbai seeks a senior structural engineer to lead a team of engineers and draftsmen, ensuring safe, optimized design deliverables. You will check drawings, monitor progress, and coordinate with clients and architects on complex projects.

Ideal candidates have 15–20 years in structural design (RCC high-rise experience) and advanced degree qualifications in structures. This role emphasizes mentorship, site visits, and close collaboration with management.

Qualifications

• Strong coordination with clients, architects, and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Leading team of Engineers & Draftsmen, guiding analysis, design & drawing with safety & optimization focus.
• Checking and approving the drawings.
• Monitoring design progress, scheduling deliverables and cost optimization.
• Undertakings site visits as required.
• Co-ordination with Client, Architect and other Consultants.
• Assist / training other employees in the same job.
• Any other responsibilities as deemed by Management.

Role & responsibilities

• Leading team of Engineers & Draftsman, providing guidance to subordinates, checking their analysis, design & drawing before delivery with special attention to safety and optimisation.
• Checking and approving the drawings.
• Monitoring the progress of design work of the team headed by you, scheduling the activities related to deliverables of design work, optimization of input cost.
• Undertakings local / outstation site visits as per the requirement.
• Attending co-ordination with Client, Architect and other Consultants.
• Assist / training other employees in the same job.
• Any other responsibility not explicitly mentioned above but as felt appropriate by the Management related to your field at specialization.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1) ME (Structures) / MTech (Structures) with 15 yrs experience
• B.E. Civil with 20 yrs. experience
• 2) 15 - 20 years (Minimum) in structural design field.
• Experience in design of RCC building including High rise
• structures
