Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose issues and perform timely repairs.
• Willingness to work in a plantation environment near Ooty.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CTC and orthodox tea machinery.
• Ensure optimal functioning of withering, rolling, fermentation, drying, and sorting equipment.
• Maintain and repair estate vehicles and transport equipment.
• Service and repair field machinery such as spraying machines, shears, and related tools.
• Conduct regular inspections to minimize downtime and prevent breakdowns.
• Maintain maintenance logs and report major issues to management.
• Coordinate with factory and field teams to ensure operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper handling of machinery.
