Job summary

Switchgear and Control Technics Private Limited(SCTPL) in Bengaluru is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain machines, equipment, and building systems. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems and support safety policies.

The candidate should have ITI or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical engineering, with 0–2 years of experience; freshers are welcome.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering required.
• Freshers or 0–2 years of experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and maintain machines, equipment, and building systems.
• Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and company policy compliance during maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and spares inventory.
• Participate in shutdowns, preventive maintenance schedules, and emergency repairs.
• Operate and monitor the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) as per the operating schedule.
• Check the inlet and outlet water flow regularly.

Job description

• Maintenance involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining machines, equipment, and building systems, including tasks such as routine preventive maintenance, diagnosing malfunctions, and fixing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or structural issues.


• Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment.


• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical Pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.


• Ensure all the maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and company policies.


• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and spares parts inventory.


• Participate in shutdowns, preventive maintenance schedules, and emergency repairs.
