Job summary

Vision India Services is searching for a Maintenance Technician in Chennai. The role requires at least 1 year of experience in machine maintenance and a diploma in Mechanical, Automation, or Electrical Engineering.

You will support the maintenance activities in the factory, ensuring machine availability and minimizing downtime. Coordination with production teams and adherence to KPIs are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in machine maintenance activities.
• Experience in machine building preferred.
• Understanding of TPM activities and maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTBF, OEE).

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance activity to ensure machine availability and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with Maintenance & Production teams to meet factory objectives.
• Follow up on maintenance requests from internal customers.

JOB LOCATION - CHENNAI

ROLE - MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

EXPERIENCE - MINIMUM 1 YEAR REQUIRED

Major required domain - Candidates who have done maintenance of machineries and maintenance activities.

MISSION

To support the maintenance activity in factory to ensure the availability of machine and to minimize downtime.

To continuously follow-up on any job requests by our internal customers (Production, Quality).

To support deployment of lean manufacturing and Six sigma in factory and direction or industrial operation with proper guidance of the engineers and supervisors.

To coordinate, manage, support and execute with Maintenance & Production team to meet factory objective.

To support continuously TPM activities & maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTBF, OEE) and others as specified.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Diploma in Mechanical / Automation / Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Job Related Experience:

Experience in Machine Maintenance activity, Machine Building Experience is also preferred. Candidate with only Facility Maintenance experience is not preferred for this position.
