Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai is seeking an EUC Tools / SCOM Administrator with 5-10 years of hands-on experience to manage SCOM infrastructure and monitoring for enterprise apps and servers.

You will configure monitoring, develop management packs, dashboards, and reports, perform health checks, and automate tasks with PowerShell, ensuring SLAs and incident resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) infrastructure.
• Configure and manage monitoring solutions for servers, applications, and network devices.
• Develop and maintain SCOM management packs, alerts, dashboards, and reports.
• Perform proactive health checks, performance tuning, and capacity planning activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve monitoring-related incidents and escalations.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, application, and operations teams to ensure optimal monitoring coverage.
• Support production environments and participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Automate routine monitoring and operational tasks using PowerShell scripting.
• Ensure compliance with operational SLAs and support documentation standards.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SCOM administration and monitoring.
• Experience in Windows Server administration and monitoring.
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure components including servers, applications, storage, and networks.
