Our vision of building a world-class product company from Asia is backed by marquee global investors like Microsoft, Salesforce, Sequoia Capital, and Lightspeed Venture Partners.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced and strategic professional to join our Human Resources team as Manager, Talent Management. This is an international HRBP role, partnering with business teams across MENA, India, and Southeast Asia, and shall naturally involve travel to these geographies.

The role involves both advisory and delivery responsibilities, and the person will work closely with Directors and VPs as a thought partner on people strategy while also owning the design and execution of talent programs.

The scope of work spans talent development, careers, performance management, and org design. The expectation is that programs and interventions will be designed keeping the overall organizational strategy in mind, and not as standalone HR initiatives.

The person in this role is expected to identify what needs to be built, think through how it connects to where the organization is headed, and then deliver it. Prior experience in product or technology companies is preferred given the nature of the environment. Having worked in client-facing or product roles is an added advantage, as it brings a useful perspective on how people, processes, and business outcomes interconnect.

Because Darwinbox is an HCM solutions company, the broader HR community here, both within the People team and across the business, carries a high level of HR functional knowledge. The expectation for HR expertise in this role is accordingly high.

  • Develop and implement talent management strategies that are aligned to the organization's overall direction and business objectives.
  • Design programs across the talent lifecycle including development, careers, performance, engagement, and succession.

Performance Management
  • Design and manage the performance management process, including goal setting, evaluation frameworks, calibration, and career development planning.
  • Work with business leaders to strengthen performance culture and improve individual and team productivity.
  • Use data to track effectiveness of performance interventions and make informed recommendations.

  • 5 to 7 years of HR experience, with meaningful exposure to talent management and HR business partnering.
  • Prior experience in product or technology companies is strongly preferred.

  • International HR or cross-geography business partnering experience is preferred. Exposure to MENA, India, or SEA markets is a plus.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong understanding of talent management practices including performance, learning and development, succession, org design, and engagement.
