Job summary

Urban Company in Gurugram is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to oversee end-to-end recruitment for assigned roles. You will manage ATS, craft compelling job descriptions, and build talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and outreach.

You''ll partner with hiring managers to structure assessments, design competency-based interviews, and use data-driven insights to improve hiring outcomes. You will guide candidates through pre-boarding and onboarding, ensuring a positive experience.

• Strong written and verbal communication that builds trust with candidates and stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage competing priorities.
• Skilled negotiator who can align expectations and reach agreements with multiple parties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete recruitment journey from setup to final placement, managing applicant tracking systems and ensuring data accuracy.
• Create and refine job descriptions that attract qualified candidates and represent the role clearly.
• Build and nurture talent pipelines through active sourcing and strategic outreach.
• Coordinate application management and keep recruitment timelines on track.
• Structure assessment frameworks to identify candidates who fit both the role and team culture.
• Prepare hiring managers to conduct effective interviews aligned with competency requirements.
• Support hiring managers through the decision-making process with data and insights.
• Gather and share constructive feedback with candidates to maintain a positive experience.
• Ensure smooth transitions for hired candidates into pre-boarding and onboarding.
• Contribute to team strategy during annual planning cycles and monthly and quarterly performance reviews.
• Partner across the business to provide recruitment insights and recommendations that drive value.
